A message from Benjamin Uprichard, CEO
As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that while this time of year is often associated with joy and celebration, it can also bring unique challenges. For many, the pressures of family, finances, and social expectations can feel overwhelming. For others, struggles with mental health or addiction may become more pronounced. At Currumbin Clinic, our mission is to ensure that no one has to face these difficulties alone.
From 22 December to 4 January, we will be running special holiday timetables across both our inpatient and day programs. These timetables are designed to provide consistent therapeutic support while recognising the realities of the season.
Currumbin Clinic will remain open throughout Christmas and New Year. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals will continue to provide compassionate care for those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, or other mental health concerns. Seeking help during the holidays can feel daunting, but it is often the most important step toward recovery.
The festive period can be particularly challenging for those living with addiction. Social gatherings, increased alcohol consumption, and heightened emotional pressures can make recovery more difficult. At Currumbin Clinic, we offer evidence‑based addiction treatment programs that provide structure, guidance, and support to help individuals navigate this season safely.
