Holiday Season Support at Currumbin Clinic

A message from Benjamin Uprichard, CEO

As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that while this time of year is often associated with joy and celebration, it can also bring unique challenges. For many, the pressures of family, finances, and social expectations can feel overwhelming. For others, struggles with mental health or addiction may become more pronounced. At Currumbin Clinic, our mission is to ensure that no one has to face these difficulties alone.

Holiday Timetables for Inpatient and Day Programs

From 22 December to 4 January, we will be running special holiday timetables across both our inpatient and day programs. These timetables are designed to provide consistent therapeutic support while recognising the realities of the season.

  • Inpatient Program holiday timetable: Structured activities, therapeutic groups, and supportive routines to help patients maintain stability and connection.
  • Day Program holiday timetable: Flexible sessions that allow participants to continue treatment while balancing holiday commitments.

Open Throughout the Holiday Period

Currumbin Clinic will remain open throughout Christmas and New Year. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals will continue to provide compassionate care for those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, or other mental health concerns. Seeking help during the holidays can feel daunting, but it is often the most important step toward recovery.

Addiction and the Holiday Season

The festive period can be particularly challenging for those living with addiction. Social gatherings, increased alcohol consumption, and heightened emotional pressures can make recovery more difficult. At Currumbin Clinic, we offer evidence‑based addiction treatment programs that provide structure, guidance, and support to help individuals navigate this season safely.

How We Can Help

Our services include:

  • Specialist inpatient care for mental health conditions
  • Day programs offering structured therapy and support
  • Addiction recovery programs tailored to individual needs
  • Group therapy sessions to build resilience and connection

A Message of Hope

The holiday season is a time for compassion, renewal, and connection. If you or someone you care about is struggling with mental health or addiction, I encourage you to reach out. Currumbin Clinic is here to provide professional care and guidance, ensuring that support is available when it is needed most.
