The Managing Adult ADHD Program is a 10-week group program based on CBT principles applied specifically to the difficulties associated with ADHD and building resilience in individuals diagnosed with ADHD. This program aims for participants to learn and apply practical CBT-based skills to suit their individual needs. Participants are encouraged to set their own goals, use skills to build motivation and take action that enriches their life.

Throughout this program you will participate in group sessions which typically have between 8-12 participants. The group will be lead by 2 qualified allied health professionals who will support group participants to share lived experiences, and to learn practical skills and evidence-based strategies for managing ADHD. At the end of each session, individuals will be encouraged to set a practise task which will be reviewed in the following session.
Understand ADHD - Learn about the neurobiological underpinnings of ADHD, common experiences and causes of ADHD
Attention and Memory - Learn several practical strategies for managing attention and memory.
Self-Esteem - Identify and utilise strengths, challenging unhelpful thoughts and act in ways that promote self-acceptance.
Emotion Regulation - Learn how to manage intense emotions.
Procrastination - Learn skills to improve motivation and time management.
