Day Patient Admissions

As a day patient, it is important that you are familiar with our processes and information provided.

How do I get admitted?

Your treating Doctor or Specialist may refer you to Currumbin Clinic.

Our team of health professionals specialise in assessing and treating mental health disorders and the exacerbation of pre-existing disorders.

Our Admissions and Assessment team will discuss your suitability and eligibility for admission. Same day, we confirm your admission date and allocate a Psychiatrist, who will oversee your treatment.

Costs and insurance cover

Our Admissions and Assessment team will contact your insurer (health fund, Workers Compensation insurer or other) to confirm exactly what costs will be covered, and what out-of-pocket expenses are to be paid.

If you have an excess or co-payment with your health insurance, you will be required to pay on admission. Please contact our Admissions and Assessment team on 1800 119 118 to obtain an estimate.
