Cost
A bulk billed initial assessment for rTMS suitability with Dr James Goldstein is available.
Patients may then be able to utilise the NEW Medicare rebate for treatments.
Medicare rebates are currently available for:
• First time recipients of TMS therapy
• Aged 18 years and older
• Diagnosis of a major depressive disorder
• Has trialled two different classes of anti-depressive medications
• Have had psychological therapy

Dr James Goldstein is an Addiction and General Adult Psychiatrist with special interests in addictive behaviours, mood and anxiety disorders and the role of non-pharmacological treatment of mental illness including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).
Dr Goldstein provides outpatient TMS services at his Bangalow Consulting Rooms and at Currumbin Clinic. He is the Director of TMS at Currumbin Clinic and the Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee.
